The Excellence of International Yarn and Knitting at Pitti Filati no.96 – January 28-30, 2025

Florence, 27^th January 2025. Pitti Immagine Filati, a reference fair for the international sector of yarn and knitting, returns to the Fortezza da Basso from 28^th to 30^th January 2025. The fair will feature a total of 114 brands – 69 will exhibit inside the Yarn area, 24 in the CustomEasy section, 15 in the KnitClub area, and 6 inside the space dedicated to institutions – and it will showcase all the yarn trends for the Spring/Summer 2026 season. 

Body of Light is a new Research Space curated by Angelo Figus, Carrie Hollands, and Manuela Sandroni. It is important to find new tools to look at reality in an objective way, trying not to fail to comprehend what happens around us. The basic principle is to start seeing things in a wider and more complete way, using additional, complementary, and different knowledge tools. Companies have to be experienced not only as workplaces, but also as spiritual entities, just like different products have to be seen as spiritual beings. Therefore, the concept of seeking the light summarises the spirit of the next trends, focused on three aspects of observation that correspond to as many ways of feeling and acting.

At the same time, Vintage selection no. 43 will be open inside the Ghiaie Pavilion. A reference exhibition for all vintage lovers, it is reserved exclusively for Pitti Filati’s buyers.
