Pitti Filati no.95 Off to a Great Start – Fortezza da Basso, June 25-27, 2024

Florence, 26^th June 2024. The 95^th edition of PITTI FILATI successfully continues, with an excellent turnout of buyers from Italy and from the main international markets. Open until tomorrow at the Fortezza da Basso, the Fair showcases the Autumn/Winter 2025-2026 yarn trends with 142 companies presenting their new collections.

All eyes are also on the new SHIELD Research Space, curated by Angelo Figus, Nicola Miller, and Carrie Hollands. Set up on the lower floor of the Central Pavilion, it presents an evocative scenographic setting recalling the importance of taking cover by relying on values such as protection, shelter, stability, security, and wellness, in a world globalised by gloomy and uncertain geopolitical scenarios. Entering the Fair, on the ground floor of the Central Pavilion, the Color Room project anticipates the themes and colours of the Research Space with an installation curated by Alessandro Moradei.

As in every edition, VINTAGE SELECTION no.42 – the reference fair for vintage lovers – will take place in conjunction with Pitti Filati. Open until tomorrow (Thursday, 27^th June) inside the Ghiaie Pavilion, this event is reserved for the buyers of Pitti Filati.
