Florence, March 25th, 2025. The IPNC 2025 International Pathogenic Neisseria Conference will be held at Palazzo dei Congressi from March 30th to April 4th, marking its 24th edition this year.
IPNC is the main event for the scientific community working on pathogenic Neisseria species, which are bacteria that cause gonorrhea, meningitis and meningococcal sepsis, including Neisseria meningitidis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
The organizers are Chiara Azzari, Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Florence and head of Pediatric Immunology at the Meyer University Hospital in Florence, Mariagrazia Pizza, Professor of Microbiology and co-director of the Centre of Bacterial Resistance Biology at Imperial College London, and Rino Rappuoli, Scientific Director of Biotechnopolo Foundation in Siena.
The conference will present cutting-edge research, clinical updates, and networking opportunities with scholars, young researchers and experts from around the world.
